Bayou Guesser

You shall begin each guessing endeavor with 10 points in your ledger.

Each image presented is a mystery most peculiar, torn from the edge of reason. To aid your reckoning, beneath each image lie 6 cryptic accounts - hints, if you will - drawn from the unfolding tale that birthed this dire scene.

But these hints come at a cost:

• The first five shall each cost you 1 point, should you dare to read them.
• Should your marker find itself on the wrong stretch of land, 1 additional point shall be lost. The swamps are unforgiving, and even the bold may stray.
• The sixth and final hint? Call upon it, and the remainder of your precious points shall vanish, but the true map shall then be revealed.

Once your mind is made up, place your marker upon the chosen map, then strike the button marked “Reveal Location.” This action shall lock in your guess.

The closer your marker lies to the truth, the greater your reward. Up to 25 points may be added to your ledger - a bounty for the sharp of eye and steady of mind.

Should the tale confound you and the hints mislead, remember: ‘Preposterous Mode’ is no place for reason. It is a test of wit, imagination, and madness alike.

You start each round with ten (10) points.

Each image is strange and mysterious. To help you figure it out, there are six (6) written hints below the image that tell a bit of the story behind it.

But be careful:

• Each of the first five hints costs one (1) point to read.
• If you guess the wrong map, you lose one (1) extra point.
• If you reveal the sixth and final hint, you lose all your remaining points — but the correct map will be shown.

When you're ready, choose a map, place your marker, and press the “Reveal Location” button to lock in your guess.

The closer your guess is to the real location, the more points you earn - up to twenty-five (25) points can be added to your total-score.

The images in "Preposterous Mode" are extremely difficult and have almost no visual cues for their location.

The main part of these riddles are actually the stories told by the written hints. They can be strange, subtle, or deeply tied to the world of "Hunt: Showdown". They're not always easy. Take your time and enjoy the mystery.

Aber Vorsicht:

• Jeder der ersten fünf Hinweise kostet dich einen (1) Punkt.
• Wenn du die falsche Karte auswählst, verlierst du einen (1) weiteren Punkt.

Die Bilder im „Absurden Modus“ sind extrem schwierig und bieten kaum visuelle Hinweise auf ihren Standort.

Der Hauptteil dieser Rätsel sind die Geschichten, welche die Hinweise-Texte erzählen. Sie können seltsam, subtil oder tief mit der Welt von „Hunt: Showdown“ verbunden sein. Sie sind nicht immer einfach. Nimm dir Zeit und genieße das Rätsel.

Pero ten cuidado:

Chaque image est étrange et mystérieuse. Pour vous aider, six (6) indices écrits sont placés sous l’image. Ils racontent une partie de l’histoire qui a mené à cette scène.

Mais attention :

• Chacun des cinq premiers indices coûte un (1) point.
• Si vous choisissez la mauvaise carte, vous perdez un (1) point supplémentaire.
• Si vous révélez le sixième et dernier indice, vous perdez tous vos points restants — mais la bonne carte sera révélée.
